Well established higher education institution looking for an experienced Cutover Manager

About the role:
The Cutover Manager is accountable for planning, coordinating, and executing end-to-end cutover and go-live activities for a large-scale, multi-year transformation program involving multiple enterprise platforms, integrations, and data migrations. The role ensures that technology deployments, environment readiness, data conversion, business change, and operational handover are fully aligned to enable a controlled, low-risk transition into production while protecting business continuity.
Key responsibilities
* Own the end-to-end cutover strategy, planning, governance, and execution for the program
* Develop and maintain the integrated cutover plan covering technology, data, integrations, environments, and business readiness
* Coordinate cross-stream dependencies to ensure cutover activities are sequenced, aligned, and achievable
* Define and manage cutover entry and exit criteria for Dress Rehearsals and Go-Live
* Plan, lead, and continuously improve Dress Rehearsals, ensuring outcomes are captured and embedded into final cutover plans
* Establish and operate the cutover governance model, including command centre structure, escalation paths, and decision authorities
* Lead Go / No-Go readiness assessments, presenting clear risk, dependency, and confidence views to senior stakeholders
Knowledge and Skills
Essential
* Proven experience as a Cutover Manager or leading complex enterprise Go-Lives
* Strong understanding of large-scale system transformations and legacy-to-target transitions
* Experience coordinating data migration, integrations, and business readiness activities
* Ability to lead under pressure in high-risk, time-critical windows
Desirable
* Experience in large-scale enterprise or public-sector transformation programs
* Experience with Ellucian, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or similar enterprise platforms
* Familiarity with Environment, Release and Change Management practices
