THIS HEROIC ROLE:
We're looking for a brilliant Melbourne Group Account Director who's ready to take the leap into one of Australia's most thriving creative independents. You know how to lead your clients towards category-defining work, as well as the team working into you. You know your clients (and their challenges) inside out, and you work tirelessly to build strong relationships with them. You lead your campaigns and your teams autonomously, from resourcing to finance, whilst still being hungry for new opportunities for
your clients. You champion creativity and love collaborating with a team of individuals who share the same passion. You will be eager to collaborate to ensure the best possible solutions for our clients, per our mantra of 'Kaizen', or continuous improvement, working on one of Australia's most iconic brands.
WHAT YOU BRING:
· A minimum of 8+ years of deep creative agency and client leadership experience is essential.
· Genuine passion to work as part of a high-performance team across a variety of clients and industries.
· Proven account leadership of blue-chip brand campaigns recognised for their creativity and effectiveness.
· You act as a trusted councilor to your clients, by understanding their business and industry.
· A track record of working collaboratively with planning and creative departments to push and protect the strategic and creative directions.
· Demonstrated collaboration with creatives to develop a career portfolio of truly great work.
· Understanding the fine art of balancing resourcing, budget, scope, time and expectations.
· Confidence running & growing large teams and programs of work within a creative agency.
· Experience in nurturing and driving excelling senior client relationships, giving your clients confidence and stability.
· Ability to respond to, manage and solve all potential problems in a timely manner
· Strong track record of AOR account leadership, including leading, collaborating and closely working with clients' agency villages partners (media, PR, etc)
· Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
· Strong financial acumen in managing client and agency budgets, forecasts, job costing reports and job profitability.
SALARY:
· Commensurate with experience. Flexible/hybrid working arrangements are in place.
