Chiba Sushi is currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position in a fast-paced restaurant setting located in an urban area away from downtown. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work under pressure with Japanese cuisine experience and a commitment to quality food preparation and kitchen operations.
Education
* Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
* Food safe level 1
Experience
* 3-5 years kitchen experience ideally
* Japanese cuisine experience 1-2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

* Prepare & cook complete meals or individual dishes & foods
* Inspect kitchens & food service areas
* Train staffs in preparation, cooking & handling of food

* Maintain inventory & records of food, supplies & equipment
* Clean kitchen & work areas
* Manage kitchen operations
* Help cut sashimi and make sushi when needed
