Description
As CEA continues to grow, we're looking for a proactive and customer-focused team member to support our Mackay branch. Whether you're an experienced Parts Interpreter, a strong Customer Service professional, or someone with solid Administration experience looking to step into the construction equipment industry - we want to hear from you
About the Role
In this varied and hands-on role, you'll play a key part in keeping our customers and our team moving. From managing parts enquiries to supporting sales and admin functions, you'll be the go-to person for accurate information, efficient service, and a friendly customer experience. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage all parts orders, including pricing, data entry, and ordering from local and international suppliers
* Respond to phone, email, and counter enquiries with prompt and professional customer service
* Receive and process incoming parts orders, branch transfers, and supplier deliveries
* Assist staff with technical parts information and general support
* Provide administrative and customer service assistance to the Sales Department
* Maintain compliance with WHSEQ requirements at all times
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a parts interpreter/sales, customer service, or administration role (equipment or automotive industry experience highly regarded)
* Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly, and approachable manner
* Solid organisational and time management abilities
* Capable of working collaboratively in a team environment
* Enthusiasm for solving customer challenges and delivering great service
