**Job Description** Could you be our next Strategic Sourcing Manager?**
Are you ready to be a driving force behind the magic of McDonald's, ensuring that our iconic menu is served with quality, innovation, and value? We are on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to work within the ANZ Purchasing Team and revolutionise the way we source and manage our Food and Beverage portfolios. As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the success of McDonald's.
**What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?**
- Managing key categories within our Food and Beverage portfolios, staying ahead of industry trends, and collaborating with Product Development and Quality Assurance to deliver top-quality ingredients;
- Establishing and nurturing strong relationships between McDonald's and our suppliers, negotiating for the best value solutions, and ensuring a seamless collaboration for assured supply, quality, value, innovation, and people;
- Developing and implementing category plans in alignment with suppliers and the QA team, engaging in joint strategic plans, and conducting formal supplier reviews to enhance our Supply Chain efficiency.
- Contributing to local and global reporting on category metrics, ensuring uninterrupted supply to all restaurants, and playing a pivotal role in forecasting and reporting into restaurant pricing.
- Driving supplier improvement through KPI monitoring, managing forecasting for permanent and promotional ingredients, and reducing system costs through improved forecasting and collaboration.
**Qualifications** Your keys to success**:
- A minimum of 5 years in purchasing, particularly in food and beverage categories, with expertise in Category/Supplier Management.
- Strong commercial acumen, knowledge of commodity markets (highly advantageous), and the ability to negotiate and influence for optimal business outcomes
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take the lead in managing categories and responsibilities within a fast-paced team environment
- Well-organised with excellent project and time management skills, capable of working under tight deadlines.
- A team player who can work independently with little supervision yet maintain a positive 'can-do attitude' and provide constructive feedback that adds value to supplier relationships.
