Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to lead civil construction projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and construction specialists, contributing to the development of innovative renewable energy, civil construction, and infrastructure projects.

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in planning, execution, and successful delivery of civil construction projects. You will oversee technical aspects, ensure quality and compliance, manage project timelines and budgets, and provide guidance and mentorship to site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, budget, and timelines.
2. Prepare, manage, and monitor project schedules and budgets, including detailed cost tracking and reporting.
3. Oversee project documentation, including quality assurance and control (QA/QC), variation management, and progress claims.
4. Provide technical expertise, advice, and guidance on project execution, methodologies, and design interpretation.
5. Mentor and supervise engineering and site personnel, fostering technical competence and professional growth.
6. Review and approve technical project documents and drawings.
7. Coordinate and liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, including project managers, construction managers, and site engineers.
8. Manage external stakeholder relationships, including subcontractors and clients, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and operational policies and procedures.
10. Uphold and actively promote a safety-first culture across all project activities, ensuring safe work practices and environments.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction, preferably within infrastructure, energy, or mining sectors.
* Demonstrated capability in managing multiple project deliverables within tight timeframes.
* Strong understanding of civil construction standards, specifications, and regulatory compliance.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Leadership capability with experience mentoring and managing teams.
* High-level proficiency in project management software and computer applications.
* Commitment to maintaining a safety-first culture.
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
* Current Australian Driver's License (Car).
* Construction Industry White Card.
* Ability to travel regularly within Central Queensland as project demands.
