Permanent Part-Time Payroll Officer for Education Provider in Southern Sydney
Your new company
Our client is an education provider with many sites located across the country. Based in southern Sydney, they are seeking a part-time payroll officer on a permanent basis; it will be 24 hours per week, ideally spread across 4 days.
Your new role
In this standalone role, you will:
* Own the payroll function and process end-to-end for this small volume company on a fortnightly basis
* Ensuring accuracy by processing and reviewing payroll including timesheets, adjustments, bonuses and other payments
* Verify and reconcile all payroll information with attendance and HR
* Generate various payroll reports and distribute to management and relevant stakeholders
* Respond to employee queries and assist in year-end processes
What you'll need to succeed
* Strong experience in payroll processing, including knowledge of relevant tax, laws and compliance
* Exposure to major ERP systems is advantageous
* Strong problem-solving skills and great communication skills, both verbal and written
* Ability to work in office across 4 days
* Great problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy
