About the Role:
As a Service Person, you will play a key role in supporting site operations by ensuring mobile plant and equipment are serviced, maintained, and ready for operation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Refuelling, shift servicing, and scheduled servicing of mobile plant and equipment
* Assisting tradespeople with washing, servicing, maintenance, and repairs
* Supporting general maintenance activities across site as required
* Identifying, recording, and reporting defects or damage
* Maintaining accurate service and maintenance documentation
* Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
* Actively promoting and adhering to MacKellar's strong safety culture
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Service Person in the mining industry
or a Light Vehicle or Diesel Fitter trade qualification with experience on civil or agricultural equipment
* RIISAM212D – Service mine plant and equipment
* Current HR driver's licence
* RIIVEH307 – Operate Heavy Rigid Vehicle (VOC) – highly desirable
* RIIVEH306 – Operate a Mine Service Vehicle (VOC) – highly desirable
