Role Purpose
Our Mount Isa Office is looking for an experienced Family/Civil Law Legal Practitioner with a strong interest in social justice. We offer a supportive and collaborative environment in one of Queensland's largest legal practices.
About You
* Admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
* Must hold (or be eligible for immediate application) a current Queensland Government Blue Card prior to commencing work.
* Demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family and Civil Law proceedings (including Child Protection and Domestic Violence applications; and Civil Litigation such as Anti-discrimination matters, Estates, and Consumer Protection matters).
* Ideally, minimum two years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work, and ability to develop culturally competent service skills.

Salary is indicative and subject to negotiation. ATSILS-provided share-housing may suit some candidates.
