The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to support secure, classified environments.
This role sits within a highly controlled setting, supporting core enterprise infrastructure that underpins critical operations. It will suit someone who is comfortable working in regulated environments and understands the expectations that come with operating inside classified networks.
We are expecting demand across several functions within secure ICT and transformation environments, including:
* Administering and maintaining Windows and Linux server environments
* Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
* Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity
* Troubleshoot incidents and respond to service requests
* Support patching, upgrades, and system hardening activities
* Maintain system documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
* Work alongside cyber security teams to ensure adherence to security standards
The Role
You will be responsible for the ongoing administration, maintenance, and optimisation of enterprise systems, ensuring stability, performance, and security across the environment.
Working closely with infrastructure engineers, cyber security teams, and operational support staff, you will play a key role in keeping systems running reliably while meeting strict governance and compliance requirements.
The Ideal Person
You are an OSA‐cleared professional with experience working in secure government or defence‐related environments. We are interested in candidates with:
* Demonstrated experience as a System Administrator within government, defence, or other classified environments
* Experience working across Linux environments
* Troubleshooting experience from Level 1‐3
* Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure and identity services
* Exposure to virtualisation platforms such as VMware or Hyper‐V
* Confidence working within controlled or highly secure networks
To be eligible for this role you will need a current Operational Security Accreditation (OSA) and a Negative Vetting 1 clearance.
Salary / Rate
* $90k – $140k + Super
