ADF Rehabilitation Consultant
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recovery and rehabilitation of Australian Defence Force personnel.
About the Role:
* You will work closely with medical specialists and other treatment providers to develop and implement personalized rehabilitation plans for clients with a range of injuries and conditions.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct assessments and evaluations, identify goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
* You will work across various locations, including HMAS Albatross, with some flexibility to work from home.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA, ESSA (as an EP), ASORC or AASW.
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Psychology or Social Work.
* A minimum of 12 months clinical experience, with relevant registration in your health discipline.
* Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal.
* Passion to help people rehabilitate and achieve their full potential.
