RMC Rail Services is a specialist department of the Group which provide rail Construction, Maintenance, Signalling, Electrical and Track Protection Services to Australia.
Our Track Protection division are becoming pioneers in the local Western Australia market by providing Network specific accreditation and mentoring programs that exceed industry norms to provide local projects with safe, competent, and experienced Track Protection Officers.
RMC Rail Services intend on setting new safety benchmarks by providing structured and formal training above and beyond the Network standards to support our projects and clients in the local WA market and empower our employees.
**About the role**:
It's an exciting time for us here at RMC because, due to industry demand, are running yet another program in WA to support the development of aspiring Track Protection Officers (TPO) and keen safety advocates. TPO's are integral to the safe undertaking of works in rail and upon successful completion of the program you will be armed with the skills, knowledge and experience to be able to undertake tasks such as:
- Ensure works undertaken are fully compliant with applicable rules and procedures
- Complete risk assessments and conduct pre-work briefings with site personnel
- Provide onsite leadership, mentoring and assistance in all aspects of rail safety

- Willing to obtain an RIW Card and Construction White Card
- Be able to work in a variety of locations during and after the program (metro and regional)
- Current C class Drivers Licence and able to complete a CAT1 Rail Medical
