Mission: To reduce suicide in the Macedon Ranges by building community capacity, supporting local prevention efforts, and promoting emotional and psychosocial wellbeing.

Key Role Details
* Commitment: Flexible (2‑5 hours per week), with attendance at online Committee meetings approximately every two months and additional duties (e.g. attendance at occasional events) as required.
* Tenure: Fixed term, subject to re‑election.
Role Overview
As the Chairperson you will provide strategic leadership, drive governance, and represent MRSPAG in all facets of its operations. You’ll act as the primary spokesperson, engage with stakeholders, lead strategic planning, and support our mission of suicide prevention.

Qualifications & Experience
* Advanced qualifications in a relevant field and proven leadership experience are highly desirable.
* Knowledge of or experience in mental health services, community outreach, or suicide prevention is advantageous.
