Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with mechanical equipment and be able to troubleshoot and repair issues efficiently.
Main Responsibilities
* Carry out scheduled and unplanned maintenance in accordance with quality work plans and procedures, including inspections of fixed and processing plant and mining equipment.
* Troubleshoot and test corrective repairs on jaw and cone crushers, vibe feeders, rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, blowers, valves, piping, mechanical seals, and hydraulic systems, ensuring all documentation is completed and backlogs raised for identified faults.
* Shape metal stock and castings to precise tolerances using various machining tools, including presses, cutters, grinders, planers, borers, and drills.
