About the Opportunity
The Finance Business Partner serves as a strategic advisor bridging financial expertise with operational decision-making through comprehensive business analysis and financial planning support.
This role delivers actionable insights via sophisticated analytics and modelling, translating complex business drivers into clear guidance while developing performance metrics, visual dashboards, and best practice reporting frameworks.
The position leads budgeting and forecasting processes, drives scenario planning for strategic decisions, and champions a cooperative, insights-driven culture. Ultimately, the Finance Business Partner builds financial capability across finance and operations teams while maintaining systems to track key metrics and strategic objectives.
About You
This position requires a candidate who thrives in rapidly changing environments, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and the ability to distil relevant insights from ambiguous situations while identifying opportunities for innovation and driving practical solutions.
You must excel at visual storytelling, presenting complex financial data through compelling dashboards and graphics rather than lengthy narratives, supported by excellent organisational, presentation, and communication skills.
Ideally, you bring technical expertise in tools such as PowerBI, Workday Adaptive Planning, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar finance systems to enhance your analytical and reporting effectiveness.
Essential
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Data Analysis
- National Police check
- Driver’s licence
- Advanced Excel and model building skills
