About You
We are looking for a Dual Registered Nurse and Midwife with experience in antenatal, postnatal, birth suite, special care, and an interest in women's health (gynaecological and breast surgery).
You will be responsible for providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care. The role is flexible, available on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.
Key Responsibilities
Practice in accordance with Calvary policies, government health policies, the position description, code of conduct, and industrial agreements
Provide direct antenatal care to mothers
Provide direct postnatal care to mothers and newborns in Calvary's maternity unit
Offer specialized care to babies requiring additional support post-birth
Support labour and delivery with hands-on experience and proper documentation
Deliver direct care to patients on St Gerard's ward with a patient-centered approach
Maintain continuity of care for each patient
What You Bring
Current registration with AHPRA as both a Nurse and a Midwife (only candidates with dual registration considered)
Experience in antenatal, postnatal, birth suite, and special care
Bachelor Degree in Midwifery or equivalent
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
A commitment to caring for others in a mission-driven organization
