About the role
We are seeking an experienced Manager - Counselling and Case Management to join our valued client in Lismore, NSW. This is a contract position and you must have immediate availability until December 2025. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high quality counselling and case management services to their clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a team of counsellors and case managers to ensure they provide effective, evidence based support to clients
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and best practices to maintain service quality and client satisfaction
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track the team's progress and identify areas for improvement
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate client care and ensure a seamless service experience
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and career development opportunities for the counselling and case management team
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our counselling and case management services
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in counselling, case management and client centred care
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, stakeholders and colleagues
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry best practices
- Tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work, counselling or a related field
- Minimum bachelor's degree qualification required for this position
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency required
- Current Working with Children Check, National Police Check and current NSW driver licence required
