Branch Assistant - Victor Harbor SA

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Branch Assistant to join a busy and customer-focused team environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of customer service, warehouse operations, and hands-on branch support duties.

You will play a key role in supporting daily branch operations by delivering excellent customer service, processing sales orders, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring the branch is maintained to a high operational standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver exceptional customer service to both trade and retail customers
* Process customer sales orders, quotes, and enquiries accurately
* Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders
* Assist with stock receiving, unpacking, stocktakes, and inventory control
* Load and unload deliveries and containers safely
* Conduct customer deliveries when required
* Maintain branch presentation and general housekeeping standards
* Support warehouse and showroom operations as required
* Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment where licensed and authorised
* Follow workplace health and safety procedures and company policies
* Work collaboratively with team members to achieve branch sales and operational targets

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in customer service, retail, warehouse, or trade supply environments
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Good computer literacy and ability to learn internal systems
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Current driver's licence essential
* Forklift licence highly regarded but not essential
