About The Role
As a Junior Ranger, you’ll be part of an exciting school-based traineeship with the Gunggari Native Title Aboriginal Corporation. You'll assist in environmental, cultural, and land management activities across the Gunggari Native Title Lands and gain skills in conservation, weed and pest control, and cultural site protection—all while still at school.
This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced Rangers and gain on-the-job experience through a supportive, culturally grounded traineeship.
Experience And Qualifications
No experience is needed—just a positive attitude and willingness to learn! To be eligible, you must:
* Be a current student and reside in Mitchell
* Be physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments
* Be willing to attend training and work well in a team
* Be interested in land care and working in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities
