Job Title: Health and Safety Officer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to manage our health and safety operations. This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our office.
Key Responsibilities
* Support regional teams throughout the South-West region in managing hazard data, generating reports, and performing analysis.
* Assist with organisational initiatives and programmes promoting employee wellbeing.
* Champion our regional health and safety committee and support Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs).
* Assist teams on workplace health and safety aspects of work practices and procedures through site inspections and observations.
* Support the coordination of emergency planning committees and associated actions.
* Contribute to audits and incident investigations.
* Support senior health and safety team members.
Requirements
* Recognised qualification in occupational health and safety is desirable.
* Experience with Sentinel or electronic health and safety management platforms is desirable.
* Valid driver's license for travel within the region.
* Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Exposure to high-risk environments such as confined spaces and working at heights is desirable.
