Boilermaker – Site Based (Gold Coast, WWTP Project)
We are seeking a qualified
Boilermaker
to join our client's team on a long-term wastewater treatment plant project based on the Gold Coast. This is a site-based role offering stability and the opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Welding and fabrication of structural and process components
GTAW (TIG) welding to high standards
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards
Day-to-Day Duties
Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication tasks on site
Assemble and install piping, tanks, and structural steel
Conduct inspections and quality checks on completed welds
Collaborate with supervisors and trades to meet project milestones
Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Boilermaker in heavy industry or infrastructure projects
Strong background in GTAW/TIG welding and fabrication
Previous site-based project experience (water treatment or similar preferred)
Ability to work independently and within a team
Qualifications & Requirements
Trade Certificate in Boilermaking
Weld Australia Certification (AS**** Ticket 5 & 7)
White Card (Construction Induction)
Current Driver's Licence and own reliable transport
Unlimited working rights in Australia
Hepatitis A & B vaccinations
Long-term project stability
– secure work on a major Gold Coast infrastructure project, minimising travel away from home
