The Role

We're on the lookout for a proactive and energetic Marketing Manager to develop and implement strategic campaigns that bring ABC content to life for audiences across Australia. With a strong focus on screen content—including Entertainment, Drama, Indigenous, Comedy, Factual, Arts & Specialist—you'll play a key role in shaping how our stories reach and resonate with audiences both new and established.

In this role, you'll collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to develop, brief and execute best-practice marketing campaigns that cut through in a competitive media landscape. As the brand custodian for key platforms including ABC TV and ABC iview, you'll ensure our marketing efforts are not only effective but aligned with the ABC's values and strategic objectives.

You're a self-motivated, content loving marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings a strong understanding of strategic brand management and how to put it into action. With a deep knowledge of linear broadcasting, online content platforms, and ABC content, you'll combine audience insights, research and industry trends to create campaigns that put audiences first.

Your expertise spans end-to-end campaign management—from strategy and execution to budget management, tracking and reporting. You bring highly developed project management skills and a proven ability to lead teams, mentor colleagues and build strong stakeholder relationships. Analytical, creative and solutions-focused, you'll be adept at adapting strategies to suit an ever-changing media environment, including social media and digital platforms.
