About the role
As an Administration Officer within Admissions, you will play an important role in supporting the patient journey from the point of admission. The role is varied and dynamic, with exposure to multiple areas of hospital administration. You will be required to work a 24/7 rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidays. Day-to-day duties include processing admissions via the Emergency Department, planned and direct admissions, managing surgical waiting lists, maintaining accurate patient and booking information, and supporting admission-related revenue processes. The service also offers internal opportunities for development, including higher-grade duties roles for those looking to progress.
About us and your support: You will be supported by an experienced manager and a knowledgeable team who value collaboration and open communication. Comprehensive orientation is provided, along with a mix of face-to-face and online training. Ongoing education and learning opportunities are available to help you build confidence and develop your skills over time.
