About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for Registered Nurses to develop their skills from novice or competent to proficient practice, take accountability for their own practice and delegated activities, and support less experienced staff as they grow in their career.
* Care Delivery: Assess client needs and provide person-centred care, plan and coordinate services with other disciplines, support student learning and staff development, participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice, provide guidance to less experienced staff, oversee team/unit care and support patient flow (specific to RN2), contribute to organisation-wide projects or guidelines (specific to RN2).
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A current registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia;
* Sound clinical knowledge and skills in the delivery of child and family health nursing practice;
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues;
* Ability to work autonomously and make sound judgments;
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning;
* Understanding of quality improvement principles and practices.
