Key Responsibilities:
* Safely rig and move loads of various sizes and weights using appropriate rigging techniques and equipment.
* Conduct pre-operational checks and inspections of rigging gear and equipment.
* Collaborate with crane operators and other team members to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
* Interpret and follow lifting plans, load charts, and other relevant documentation.
* Adhere to all safety regulations, procedures, and standards set by industry guidelines.
* Maintain rigging equipment in good working condition and report any defects or issues.
* Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Basic Intermediate/Advanced Rigging &/or CN/C6/C1/CO certification.
- Proven experience as a rigger/Operator, preferably in a Mining or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts, lifting plans, and other technical documents.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Physically fit and able to work in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to pass random D & A testing

Job Type: Casual Full-time positions available

Pay: $42.00 – $60.00 per hour depending on ticket level and experience
