Position Summary
The Sales Executive in Australia/New Zealand will play a key role in accelerating AEG’s growth and market penetration across the region. This position will focus on General Aviation and Business Jet customers, driving both new customer acquisition and the expansion of existing client relationships. This individual will act as the regional commercial lead, representing AEG’s brand, service offerings, and operational capabilities to customers while ensuring sustainable, profitable growth. Within the first 12 months, success will be measured by the development of a strong portfolio of new customer accounts and an increase in wallet share from existing clients.
Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and acquire new General Aviation and Business Jet customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships through regular engagement, operational support, and a solutions-focused approach.
- Execute sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives to accelerate AEG’s presence and brand recognition in the region.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a consistent, professional experience and timely response to inquiries, pricing requests, and operational coordination.
- Drive measurable increases in market share and profitability through strategic account planning, cross-selling, and upselling opportunities.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, credit, pricing, and tax) to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless execution of service agreements.
- Monitor competitive activity, emerging market trends, and customer needs to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and account activity reports in CRM system.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience in the aviation, fuel, logistics or related B2B industry.
- Proven track record in new business acquisition and account management.
- Strong understanding of General Aviation and/or Business Jet operations in the Australia/New Zealand market.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage relationships across a distributed region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region.
