We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Warehouse Admin to join our client's freight operation. This role starts as casual and, for the right person, opportunity to transition into a permanent position. It suits someone comfortable in a blue-collar warehouse environment who can handle admin duties while staying connected to what's happening on the floor.
About The Role
Based in a working freight warehouse, this role supports both office and warehouse operations. Most days are steady with management support, but at times you'll be running the office solo, so you'll need to be organised, confident, and able to keep things moving.
What You'll Be Doing
Serving customers at the counter and over the phone Answering calls and handling freight and delivery queries Data entry and general admin tasks Scanning and processing freight pallets separately Scanning and filing freight paperwork Logging customer issues and following them up Back-up invoicing and basic reporting Liaising with drivers, agents, and warehouse staff Assisting with general warehouse admin as required
What We're Looking For
Admin or customer service experience (freight/transport preferred but not essential) Comfortable using systems such as Outlook, SAP, Citrix, Excel and Word Good communication skills and practical problem-solving ability Ability to work independently when required Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Ability to safely lift up to 15kg when required Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and police check, including drug and alcohol testing
