Base pay range

A$46.74/hr - A$50.11/hr

Mental Health & Wellbeing Worker

Position Details

* Casual Position
* Classification: SCHADS Level 3 with an hourly rate of: $46.74-$50.11; p/h including casual loading + Superannuation
* Salary packaging arrangements providing tax benefits for living and entertainment expenses, increasing your take-home income with part of your wage paid tax-free each pay, saving thousands in tax annually
* Location: Joondalup, WA


About your new role

As a Mental Health & Wellbeing Worker, you will provide tailored support to vulnerable consumers living with multiple complex needs including, but not limited to mental health, complex trauma, dual diagnosis, dual disability, exploring gender identity, and physical health and wellness. The role utilises a trauma-informed framework to support consumers in meeting their individual needs. You will provide individualised support and facilitate psychosocial and other services.

You will work collaboratively with consumers to support their independence, autonomy, and capacity in areas such as employment, education, relationships, financial literacy, and physical health. You will work closely with clinical case managers and community partners to deliver comprehensive services.

What you will bring

* Minimum Cert IV in a relevant field and/or relevant experience
* Interest and understanding of trauma, mental distress, and social determinants of health
* Ability to build respectful, professional relationships with boundaries
* Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations


Role requirements

* National Criminal History Check (disclosable outcomes considered)
* Current Working with Children Check
* Current Australian driver’s license and access to a vehicle
* Australian work rights
