Job Title: Senior Crisis Intervention Lead
About the Role
The Hospital Outreach Post – suicidal Engagement (HOPE) program is a core component of Victoria’s suicide prevention framework. It delivers responsive outreach to individuals following a suicide attempt or at significant risk of suicide.
This role provides operational oversight of the HOPE team, supporting individuals and their personal support networks for up to three months to identify and build protective factors against suicide.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level operational leadership to ensure the service delivers a high-quality and accessible service to individuals and the community in the Grampians region.
* Develop future initiatives from within Grampians Health and implement recommendations from the Mental Health Royal Commission.
Key Requirements:
* Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist with AHPRA.
* Postgraduate qualifications in specialty and/or management are highly regarded.
* Extensive clinical practice demonstrates an advanced level of knowledge, particularly in complex presentations and management of static and dynamic risk.
* Demonstrated experience in supervising others, preferably in Community Mental Health and service development.
