Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Marine Outboard Mechanic to join our team. As an integral member of our crew, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of outboard motors and associated systems on a range of marine vessels.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Installing and integrating outboard engines and associated systems to ensure proper alignment and secure mounting;
* Configuring fuel, electrical, and control systems to achieve peak engine performance and reliability;
* Carrying out scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on outboard motors, including fault finding and replacement of worn or damaged components;
* Testing and calibrating outboard engines after installation or repairs to ensure they meet safety and manufacturer standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A mechanical trade qualification; preferably in boat building or automotive repair;
* Experience in working with marine engines and vessels;
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
