Central Coast Grammar School is a leading K-12 independent, coeducational and nondenominational school. Located on a single 18-hectare campus overlooking the Matcham Valley close to the heart of Erina, our school offers a spacious environment where students can grow and flourish.
We are looking for a permanent full-time Science Teacher with the ability to teach Years 7 to 12. This role is to commence Term 1, 2026.
Overview
Central Coast Grammar School (CCGS) is committed to the safety, protection, and wellbeing of all students involved in activities at CCGS. Responsibilities
- Teach Science to students in Years 7 to 12, with the ability to teach Stage 6 Science considered desirable.
- Demonstrate an understanding of STEM and emerging technologies and apply high standards of classroom practice.
- Provide inclusive teaching to cater for different learning needs and maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team and contribute to the School’s strategic direction.
- Participate in the whole life of the School, including Outdoor Education and cocurricular activities.
Qualifications
- Appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation, with a major in Science essential.
- Thorough knowledge of the NSW Science Curriculum.
- Evidence of excellent student outcomes in Science.
- Demonstrated ability to teach Science up to Year 12; capability to teach Stage 6 Science is desirable.
- Commitment to the School’s values and strategic plan.
