Victoria University's TAFE Division is seeking an inspiring and strategic Manager, Nursing (Head of Discipline) to lead our Nursing Portfolio within the College of Health, Early Childhood Education and Community Services.

This is a full-time, continuing position at the SE3 Classification level with a competitive salary of $124,762 per annum plus a 17% superannuation (for commencements after 1 July 2025), working 38 hours per week.
This role provides a real opportunity to grow your leadership profile, influence curriculum and operations, and mentor passionate vocational educators.
As Head Of Discipline, You Will
* Provide dynamic leadership across the Nursing teaching team, ensuring academic excellence and compliance with ANMAC, ASQA and professional standards.
* Manage the day-to-day operations, budgets, and resources of the Nursing Portfolio.
* Drive innovation in teaching and learning, shaping high-quality, student-centred programs.
* Collaborate with the Senior Manager Health, College Leadership Team, and external stakeholders to grow partnerships and deliver real-world outcomes.
* Lead a culture of continuous improvement and accountability, contributing to policy development and strategic planning.
What You Bring
* You are a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in vocational or higher education leadership.
* A proven ability to lead diverse teams with empathy, innovation, and a results-oriented mindset.
* Strong communication skills with a track record of building trusted internal and external relationships.
* A deep understanding of quality assurance, compliance (including ANMAC and ASQA Standards), and best practice in nursing education especially at the vocational level.
