Remuneration: Dependent on Qualification

* Admin Off.Lvl 3: $71,072.43 - $73,287.41 per annum
* Admin Off.Lvl 4: $75,176.80 - $76,897.65 per annum
* Admin Off.Lvl 5: $79,171.07 - $80,966.53 per annum
* Medical Records Admin: $73,510.00 - $95,083.00 per annum

In addition to base salary, all roles attract 12% Superannuation + Salary Packaging.

Two hours coding test prior to interview.

What We're Looking For

* Demonstrates exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in delivering timely, high‐quality coding in line with Australian Coding Standards, supported by strong analytical and problem‐solving skills to identify documentation gaps, resolve discrepancies, and maintain data integrity.
* Confidence using digital systems, including Microsoft Office, Patient Administration Systems, eMR, and coding software such as 3M Encoder.
* Shows excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with auditors and coding teams to clarify clinical information, while also managing workload independently by setting priorities and meeting coding throughput and accuracy targets within required timeframes.
* Commitment to ethical coding practice, maintaining confidentiality, privacy, and compliance with NSW Health policies and WHS responsibilities.
* A growth mindset, staying updated with coding standards, participating in education programs, and adapting to changes in coding rules and clinical documentation requirements.

Selection Criteria

* Completion of a recognised ICD-10-AM coding course or relevant Tertiary Qualifications in Health Information Management (with a clinical coding component).
* Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office applications.
* Experience using Patient Administration Systems, electronic medical record systems and coding software.
* Demonstrated detailed understanding of DRG assignment and the relationship between Clinical Coding and Activity Based Funding.
* Demonstrated attention to detail and proven ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
* Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality.
