Behavioural Support Specialists are required to work with individuals who have complex needs, including mental health issues and trauma-based presentations.
About the Role:
* Provide behavioural support services to clients with complex disabilities and psycho-social needs;
* Conduct assessments to identify client support needs and develop intervention plans;
* Design and implement strategies to improve client outcomes;
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal results;
* Facilitate delivery of clinical frameworks and activities;
* Support clients through clinic or home-based sessions, training, and resource development;
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Psychology or a related field relevant to behaviour support;
* Minimum 2 years' experience providing direct behaviour support and registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission;
* Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities, mental health issues, and/or trauma-related complexities;
* Registration with the NDIS Worker Screening and Working with Children Check (or ability to attain).
