Lumus Imaging is seeking an experienced PACS Product Lead to manage the availability, functionality, and development of our PACS environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring the system supports current business requirements while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and future needs.
To be successful in this role you will bring strong technical expertise in Radiology Systems and demonstrated experience administering PACS environments, coupled with the ability to manage vendor relationships and engage effectively with internal stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the PACS system not only meets current business needs but evolves with our future strategic goals. You'll work closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to drive system performance, quality improvements, and innovation.
About you:
5 years' experience working in a Radiology environment (technical or otherwise)
Experience administering PACS systems and high-level technical knowledge of Radiology Systems, including PACS, RIS, HL7, DICOM, and Report Delivery
Strong understanding of PACS workflows, system integrations, and radiology clinical workflows
Demonstrated experience as a Technical System/Application SME or system owner.
Solid grasp of enterprise technology architecture, networking, hosting, and security principles
Your responsibilities
Ensure the PACS system is available, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with business requirements, maintaining oversight of PACS workflows, integrations, and architecture
Manage the development pipeline for system enhancements and coordinate monthly priorities with the vendor
Build and manage strong working relationships with State Managers, Clinical and corporate teams, and vendors
Take the lead in proactive monitoring, fault detection, and drive system performance improvements
Evaluate and recommend vendor solutions to support evolving business needs
Support after-hours maintenance or urgent system issues as required
Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to drive positive system outcomes
Managing a vendor-driven technical ecosystem while ensuring business needs are prioritized
Capturing and delivering product development enhancements with vendors
Upholding PACS system performance against contracted Service Level Agreements
