The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a smart, driven and real Territory Manager to join our state sales team and manage a portfolio of key customers and distributors within Queensland's Gold Coast region - including upper northern NSW.
Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, you will continually advance James Hardie's growth of High Value Products through our customers within the Single-Family New Construction and Renovation segments. This is done by implementing the company's Sales and Marketing strategies to strengthen our competitive position and deliver sustainable profitable growth year on year.
What you'll do
* Strategically plan and align joint account plans with key customer stakeholders
* Present our Value Proposition at store level to drive engagement and enthusiasm to stock our range and sell James Hardie Products
* Educate, train, and build capability in key stakeholders (customers) to drive product sales for James Hardie Fibre Cement
* Drive scalable programs, in-store and out of store marketing activation
* Support the wider NSW & ACT state team in trade and association events
* Hunt opportunities to gain further category share of James Hardie Fibre Cement

What you'll bring
* Minimum 3 years sales experience with a track record in, and passion for, business development
* Experience working with builders or within the building and/construction industry would be strongly preferred, though not essential
* Proactive and resilient hunter who is driven and persistent in achieving and surpassing targets
* Cross functional team player with strong stakeholder management skills to support execution
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate as required
* Proven ability to shift seamlessly between strategic and tactical thinking to deliver outcomes
* Demonstrated experience in delivering training programs to build customers capability
* Proficiency utilising the Microsoft Office Suite, as well as CRM systems i.e. Salesforce
