Reporting into the Region MD, this position requires leadership across both sales and enabling functions, balancing strategic foresight with day-to-day operational control.
Duties & key responsibilities
- Full accountability for region P&L;, including revenue, profitability, operations and cost management.
- Leadership of both sales and non-sales teams, across finance, operations, HR, compliance, and technology functions.
- Growth mandate to deepen customer relationships, diversify market risk, protect market share, and secure new business opportunities.
- Lead, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, client success, and operations to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
- Build strong partnerships with key enterprise clients, merchants, and partners, acting as the senior executive sponsor to ensure long-term success and growth.
We are seeking a commercially oriented and growth-focused sales-centric Director with deep experience in leading complex teams and scaling business.
Ideal background
- Previous experience as a Region Director, General Manager, or similar senior executive role within a multinational organisation. (Ideally technology-driven, or service-based B2B sectors)
- Demonstrated success in P&L; ownership at scale, ideally across multiple regions and +300 staff headcount
- Strong sales DNA: proven ability to scale businesses, build high-performing go-to-market engines, and deliver commercial outcomes.
- Track record of navigating turnaround or high-growth environments, ideally within SaaS, B2B solutions, financial services, or technology-driven industries.
- Strong EQ, resilience, and executive influence – able to inspire diverse teams, win customer trust, and build stakeholder alignment.
- Advocates for inclusion and talent development, with a leadership style that attracts and retains high-calibre professionals.
