Job Overview
The Occupational Health and Safety Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving a comprehensive health and safety management system. This role ensures compliance with relevant legislation while fostering a proactive safety culture and minimizing risks to staff and visitors.
* Oversight of fleet vehicles across operations, maintenance, budgeting, procurement, safety, cost control, and optimization
About You
We are seeking an individual with:
* A relevant OHS qualification with at least 2 years' experience in a similar position
* Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing safe work practices
* Sound knowledge of OHS legislation and standards
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels of the organization
* Fleet coordination/management experience in a large, complex environment
Previous experience working with traditional owner organizations is viewed favorably.
