About the Role
* Analyse complex datasets to identify trends and generate business-critical insights (less emphasis on complex ML)
* Lead process improvements across internal workflows and data communication
* Collaborate with stakeholders across corporate, consulting, and agency contexts to ensure alignment and understanding
* Translate highly technical data concepts into clear, actionable insights for product, sales, and executive teams
* Mentor junior Data Scientists and contribute to team development
What You Bring
* Advanced proficiency in Looker (or Tableau, Power BI, similar)
* Strong grasp of BigQuery and SQL fundamentals
* Proven ability to work cross-functionally, engaging both commercial and technical teams
* Experience presenting data to non-technical stakeholders (corporate, consulting, or agency settings)
* A track record of mentoring and developing team capabilities
* Experience with tech pre-sales, audits, or consulting functions
* Familiarity with performance-driven industries (e.g., hotel or tool booking websites leveraging Google/Facebook paid traffic)
* Comfort in fast-moving, high-growth startups, navigating ambiguity and scaling challenges
