Key Responsibilities
* Provide pre- and post-sales technical support for customers (builders, contractors, dealers), including product demonstrations, product portfolios, and implementation guidance.
* Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored technical solutions.
* Respond to customer inquiries, providing timely and effective troubleshooting and resolution.
* Act as a liaison between customers and engineering/product development teams to relay feedback and contribute to product improvements.
* Develop sales and marketing strategies and initiate plans to penetrate new markets across all product lines.
* Seek, promote, and sell training opportunities, including product familiarisation and injection equipment.
* Track revenue growth from key accounts, indicating successful upselling or cross-selling.
* Track the success of selling additional products or services to existing key accounts.
* Track and maintain the health of the sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of potential key accounts.
* Understand the company's position within the market and identify opportunities for growth.
* Identify cross-selling and bundled sales opportunities and communicate leads with the sales team.
* Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with executive decision makers of accounts and industry leaders.
What We're Looking For
* 2-5 years experience in technical sales representative or solutions support role with a material supplier in construction industry
* Experience selling similar products within the tunnelling and/or civil construction industry
* Experience in sales, marketing and account management
* Strong understanding of material science chemistries
* Knowledge of construction chemical products and equipment delivery systems (pumps)
* Equipment delivery systems (pumps) for various chemical applications
* Ability to interpret structural drawings and site requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in engineering, chemistry, construction, or a related field (desirable)
* Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
* A self-starter, who's driven, personable and a team player
* Strong organisational and CRM management capabilities
* Familiarity with construction site safety protocols
* Flexibility to travel for work intrastate and interstate as required (approximately 30% – 40%)
* Valid Driver's License
* Full working rights in Australia
Pre-employment
The successful candidate must be able to complete a pre-employment medical and obtain a National Police Clearance before commencement.
