Job Description:
We seek a reliable, skilled property maintenance and gardening professional to join our team and ensure a safe, beautiful, and fun campsite for all guests. The ideal candidate will perform a range of maintenance tasks to ensure the CCC Camps Hawkesbury property remains well-maintained and functional. Work within a friendly, supportive team that promotes teamwork, leadership, and resilience among our staff and guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform general repairs and maintenance on cabins and commercial properties.
* Involvement in small maintenance/building projects, working with the Property and Facilities Team Leader
* Help prepare and pack up the centre for guests' arrival (e.g., set up the dining room, check cabins, construct a campfire, remove rubbish, etc.).
* Be on call to respond to issues that may arise with groups on-site
* Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks promptly and professionally as needed.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify issues and ensure all facilities are in good working condition.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
* Maintain gardens and mowing on-site.
To be successful, you will need to have the following:
* Ability to undertake manual/physical work
* Punctual, reliable and energetic
* Good, strong work ethic and time management skills
* Confident communication skills
* Working with Children Check
* Previous experience in maintenance, handyperson services, or a related field.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and manage time effectively.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
