Field Service Technician - Mackay Region
We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Mackay.
This role will involve traveling to customer sites and workshops to work on VOLVO CE and SGLG products. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment, as well as providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Performing servicing and repairs on equipment in Mackay and the surrounding region
* Troubleshooting electronic, engine, hydraulic, and transmission systems
* Ensuring quality workmanship with a 'done right the first-time' approach
* Liaising with our Product Specialist to assist with complex issues
* Maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
* A proactive attitude toward safety
* Experience and knowledge with computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogs
* A positive attitude and good communication skills
* A current driver's licence, as you will be provided a CJD Service vehicle, mobile and laptop
* Ability to travel and occasionally stay overnight at customer sites.
