Occupational Therapist – Rehabilitation Unit
The Rehabilitation Unit at St John's Campus is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team of experienced health professionals. This full-time, permanent position offers flexibility with days and hours; FTE can be negotiated. While experience is preferred, new graduates are welcome to apply.
About the Role
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients with diverse orthopaedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop, implement, and review intervention plans tailored to each patient's motor, sensory, or cognitive needs.
* Establish patient-centred goals, treatment, and discharge plans in partnership with patients, their significant others, and the healthcare team.
* Communicate effectively, advocating for patients and carers, and contributing to multidisciplinary case discussions.
* Stay current with developments in Occupational Therapy and ensure contemporary evidence-based practices are integrated into service delivery.
About You
* Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Previous experience is advantageous; new graduates will be considered.
* Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
