Fully Qualified Veterinary Nurse Position in Biloela, Central Queensland.
Our beautiful country town of Biloela is located in Central Queensland just 1 hour & 45 minutes' drive to the Beef Capital of Rockhampton. We are also just over 1 hour's drive to the beautiful beach of Tannum Sands. Our clinic is a well-established mixed practice clinic, having 3 FTE vets working out of our clinic and currently 2 FTE nurses and a practice manager.

About The Role
· Provide exceptional customer service standards
· Assist our Vets with routine examinations in clinic and out on the road
· Surgical and hospital nursing including monitoring anaesthetics
· Pre and post operative patient care including grief support to clients
· Prepare and administer medications as required
· Admission and discharge of surgical and hospital cases
· Communicate treatment plans to clients
· Blood collection and testing, iv catheter placement
· Assist with x-rays, ultrasounds and dental procedures
· General day to day nursing duties to support our lovely Vets.
About You
· Cert IV Veterinary Nurse is a requirement.
· Available to work a 9-day fortnight with pro rata Saturdays (rostered on for 3 hours).
· A genuine, warm, and supportive style that enjoys caring for animals
