The Camp
Based in the heartland of South Australian mining, the camp features very modern facilities with a quality canteen and further inclusions planned for the future. The site currently has;
* Ensuited rooms with air conditioning and wifi
* Good quality and consistent standard of meals included
* Clean camp site with large array of facilities & activities
The Roster
The roster is an 8:6 - 7/7 - (week of days / week of nights), the travel would consist of the below;
* Day shift - Fly in morning for start / leave site morning of R&R
* Night shift - Fly mid-morning/early arvo then to site to start that night / leave site morning of last shift
The Role
Your position as an LV fitter will see you working across the workshop and field space assisting with breakdowns as required, modern fleet of Toyota landcruisers and Isuzu light trucks.
* Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
* Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
* Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures
Your Value
The ideal candidate will come from a light vehicle trade background, underground experience is non-essential as great opportunity to gain exposure within this environment, however experienced candidates desirable.
* 1-2 years minimum post trade - LV vehicle/diesel fitting trade qualification
* Able to adapt to various conditions & environments in the workshop/field
* Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 3 months
* Strong safety showing and track record of minimising downtime for machinery
* Working independently and within a team environment
