Water Engineer Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Water Engineer to join our team. As a Water Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of water management systems in various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement hydraulic models to predict water flow and pressure in pipelines, borefields, and pump stations.
* Prepare and compile technical deliverables, including construction drawings, quantity estimates, and scope definitions.
* Facilitate design reviews and ensure that designs meet statutory regulations, project requirements, and good practice standards.
* Develop final engineering deliverables, including pipeline schematics, GA's, P&ID's, and critical equipment selection.
* Input to capital estimates and conduct quantity calculations, including compilation of MTOs.
Qualifications And Experience:
* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Civil Engineering, recognized by Engineers Australia.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in piping systems and pipeline design, preferably in the mining industry or engineering consultancy.
* Previous experience in mine dewatering is advantageous.
