About You
We're looking for an exceptional Disability Support Worker with behaviour support experience to join our team in or around the Gympie area.
You are confident working with participants who have complex needs providing the supervision, care and guidance they require. You create and maintain a safe, structured environment and understand the importance of compliance and best practice.
You remain calm and solution-focused under pressure, while always delivering first-class, person-centred support. Strong communication and comprehension skills are essential.
About the Role
As a valued member of the Sunnysights team, you will:
* Support participants with their morning and evening routines, personal care, and social engagement.
* Document shift progress and complete incident reports as required.
* Maintain a safe, supportive, and empowering environment at all times.
* Offer flexibility by providing shift coverage at short notice when required.
* Must be available to work a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, active overnight and short 2 hour shifts for personal care. We aim to provide our staff with a fair and equitable roster.

Requirements – You Must Have:
* Australian Driver's Licence and own reliable vehicle
* Comprehensive car insurance
* Minimum Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or Aged Care (or related)
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
* Flexibility and willingness to work a variety of shifts including afternoons + sleep overs & weekends
* Valid NDIS Worker Screening Card
* Working With Children Check (Blue Card) or Current Police Check
* Full rights to work in Australia
