Bird Trainer Volunteer
We are seeking a dedicated volunteer to join our team in caring for native Australian wildlife.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver bird training and enrichment programs utilizing positive reinforcement techniques, with a focus on working independently with large cockatoos.
* Conduct daily care tasks for birds, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being is maintained.
* Engage with visitors of all ages, providing an exceptional experience and promoting our conservation efforts.

This is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in animal care and conservation. As a volunteer, you will be part of a dynamic team that works together to protect and preserve native Australian wildlife.
You will have the chance to work with a variety of bird species, including cockatoos, and gain hands-on experience in bird training, habitat maintenance, and conservation efforts.

Qualifications & Skills:
* Prior experience in animal care or conservation is highly desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Physical stamina to perform daily tasks, such as cleaning and maintaining enclosures.
* Enthusiasm for learning and willingness to take on new challenges.
