Primary objective
To provide high quality, contemporary eLearning products through the development of new eLearning content, updating
existing content and identifying improvements to maintain high educational standards at the NTPF College.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Coordinate the development, implementation and maintenance of College Online learning system with Learning and
Development Unit and subject matter experts.
2. Review, evaluate and provide recommendations to Learning and Development Unit on the continuous improvement of
online training using contemporary approaches.
3. Utilise professional multimedia applications and high-end equipment in the production of blended and online learning
material (e.g. Adobe Suite, Articulate 360, or similar)
4. Design, develop and maintain innovative blended and online learning materials, utilising flexible delivery methods
including adapting material used in traditional teaching delivery for digital environments.
1. Design, develop, edit and produce graphics, videos, still imageries and animations for use in online courses.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Contemporary working knowledge of all aspects of multimedia, graphic design and desktop publishing.
2. Strong working knowledge of and experience in design, development and production of educational online media,
including current experience working with Learning Management Systems.
3. Strong working knowledge of eLearning software applications (Articulate 360 or similar).
4. Extensive knowledge of web-based design using a variety of current software packages for film production, graphics
preparation and animation including design software such as Adobe Suite and other visual graphic design tools.
5. Good problem solving skills and capacity to apply reasoning, research and analytical skills to improve eLearning products.
6. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within a team, and well-developed organisation skills, including ability
to effectively meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment.
Desirable
1. Qualification in multi-media, graphic design or equivalent.
2. Certificate in Training and Assessment or accredited eLearning qualification.
