About us
BNB By The Sea is a boutique short-term rental management company on the Yorke Peninsula. We manage high-standard coastal homes and partner with local cleaners, suppliers, and owners to deliver consistently great guest stays.
What you’ll do (key responsibilities)
- Operations & Scheduling: Plan and assign cleans in Booking Koala; coordinate cleaners/contractors; track job status and follow up revisits.
- Quality & Standards: Conduct property inspections and check-outs; ensure homes are guest-ready; oversee linen and amenity logistics.
- Guest & Owner Care: Handle escalations, resolve issues quickly, and communicate updates; support after-hours issues on a rostered basis.
- Compliance & Safety: Maintain schedules for smoke alarms (12-monthly), pool safety (biennial where applicable), air-con and flue cleaning, pest control, and soft-furnishing/carpet care.
- Administration: Keep tidy records, incident logs, and before/after photos; assist with quotes, purchase orders, and basic reporting.
- Platforms & Tools: Maintain listings, bookings and notes in Hostaway; use Telegram for team comms; collaborate on pricing and availability.
About you (what you’ll bring)
- Experience in property/holiday-rental/hotel ops or similar scheduling/field-team role
- Confident with booking & scheduling systems (Hostaway/Booking Koala or similar) and solid general tech skills
- Strong organiser who loves checklists, time-blocking, and following through
- Calm communicator who can juggle priorities and keep guests/owners informed
- Current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle; comfortable visiting properties on the Peninsula
- Able to participate in a reasonable after-hours/on-call rotation (shared)
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of PriceLabs (or similar dynamic pricing), basic Xero familiarity, and experience coordinating linen/runners
- Previous experience building SOPs, cleaner checklists, or property handbooks
